Son of a Bitch

So I'm going on vacation Wednesday. Driving up to Canader for a three week road-trip to introduce Ruby to her Great Grandparents, Aunts, cousins, etc. Drink beer with Jason and friends in Victoria, etc.

I've been working my bag off to get this trip organized and to get enough work done to satisfy my boss that he can survive without me for three weeks, and all the other worries and stress that come with trying to get some time away from all the worries and stress.

And last Wednesday I got an itch where my scar is from my appendectomy, and some more over my hip. I thought maybe I got a scrape from a slide in softball Tuesday... And then the itch spread, and spread. So I went to the doc on Saturday.

I HAVE SHINGLES, MOTHERFUCKERS.

SHINGLES!

F me. It itches, aches, burns, shoots and shocks. Isn't this supposed to be a disease for feeble old ladies?

So Sunday was my birthday. Went out for a really nice dinner and got some nice presents.

Now I'm pissed off because I have a little zit just inside my nose. You know these ones? Like a little nosehair-follicle is swollen up and driving me insane. INSANE.

So my girlfriend, Stephanie, opened a new cafe with some friends of hers down here in Palo Alto. It's called Bistro Maxine and I made them a simple website. www.bistromaxine.com If anyone has a place online to reference it, I'd appreciate the help getting google to bump it. Hope y'all are enjoying the long weekend. God I needed it!
