So the lady from Gold's Gym called...

So the lady from Gold's Gym called me back yesterday, apologising for "coming on too strong," and letting me know that her boss OKed waiving all the startup fees except for $20, so I could pay $20 to join, not pay until October, and that I could either sign up for one year or two. I was probably too nice to her - I told her not to worry about coming on too strong, and that I'd let the guys know and we'd call if we were interested.

Robb is definitely not interested. I don't think he'd sign up there for anything. Brad bought a Total Gym or something, so he uses it at home now. As for me, I don't really feel like going there, either, so I think we're going to sign up at some community centre that has squash and racquetball. I've never played either, but they look pretty fun. Getting to play angles like that makes me think it's kind of like 3-D pool. You know, where there's only one ball, no pockets, and it won't kill you if it hits you in the head. Whatever.

Haven't been golfing for two days. I fear my zenlike state may be slipping away. We'll find out tomorrow.

Geoff gets here tonight. This could get out of hand. He wants me to bring a cold one to the airport so he can shotgun one right then and there. I fear the worst.

I'm trying to talk Kurt into starting a t-shirt business. Between his and Bill's drawings, we could have a bunch of cool t-shirts. Maybe I just want him to draw me cool t-shirts, I dunno.

Christ, I'm tired. Stupid Friday. On the plus side, I only have to work Monday before I go on vacation for Bill's wedding.
